Land areas: Chad adopts the E-conservation system

The Ministry of Finance, Budget and Public Accounts, officially launched E-conservation on May 10, 2023, at the premises of the General Directorate for Domains and Conservation. Minister Tahir Hamid Nguilin presided over the ceremony.

E-conservation is a new computerized domain and land registration system (SIGDCF). This system will allow the ministry to manage important documents more efficiently and securely, while contributing to the preservation of the environment by reducing the use of paper.

For the general manager of the domain, Djiddi Hissein, this launch demonstrates the determination to digitize financial administration. “The design and implementation of the domain aims to build a reliable database. With E-conservation, there will be more duplicates to avoid land disputes. There is the application that is operational for this purpose, “ he pointed out.

According to the Minister of Finance, Tahir Hamid Nguilin, this system complements the operational modules and aims to modernize the administration. “This system allows the management of real estate and related documents with greater security. I would like to congratulate the partners and technicians who have given themselves to make this system a reality,” he underlined. He continues that the conservation of heritage must be secure, without fraud and litigation. “Land issues will be old memories through the adapted E-conservation system. This system will be redeployed in the provinces in the coming days,” he concluded.
