La CARMI and Liber Technologies Ltd sign a strategic partnership to modernize the management of Chadian military pensions

The Military Pension Fund (CARMI) of the Republic of Chad and Liber Technologies Ltd have officially signed a major service contract aimed at initiating a complete digital transformation of the retirement pension management system for Chadian soldiers.
This signing marks a major step in the modernization of public services in Chad and reflects the desire of CARMI to provide the institution with an efficient, secure information system
and complies with the best international standards.
The project, with a duration of 24 months, will allow for an in-depth review of the entire pension management chain in order to offer a faster, more reliable and more transparent service to pensioners.
Key components of the project include:

• the complete overhaul of the CARMI’s IT architecture;
• the creation of a single national database of military retirees;
  
• the digitization, indexing and electronic archiving of all pension records;
• the implementation of a modern Internet platform allowing retirees to access their personal information, track their files and carry out their procedures remotely;
• the interconnection of the CARMI with the main administrations of the Chadian State in order to make the exchange of information more reliable, facilitate controls and automate administrative procedures.
  Beyond technological modernization, this project aims to sustainably improve the quality of service provided to former soldiers, while strengthening data security, transparency in operations and combating fraud.
