As part of the modernization of migration procedures in the Republic of Chad, the teams at LiberTechnologies Limited are actively pursuing the operational deployment of the official national platform eVisa.td, which has been in place for over a year and a half in collaboration with the Chadian authorities.
This week, a new training session was held for agents of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration, within the General Directorate of the National Police in N’Djamena. This training focused on the operational use of the official eVisa.td platform, which has now become the central point for managing applications for entry into Chadian territory.
According to official statements relayed by several national media outlets, Chadian authorities have announced that, starting May 11, 2026, all new visa applications must be submitted via the official platform evisa.td. From May 21, 2026, any visa issued outside of this digital system will be considered invalid for entry into the country.
This decision marks a major step forward in the digitalization of the Chadian administration and in securing migration flows. It also puts an end to the old manual entry authorization procedures, in favor of a centralized, secure, and traceable system.
Since the project’s launch, LiberTechnologies Limited has been assisting the Chadian authorities in:
- the development of the eVisa platform;
- securing the delivery procedures;
- the training of operational teams;
- the continuous improvement of digital tools related to immigration;
- the gradual integration of payment and control services.
The recently organized training session brought together several dozen agents from the immigration services and the national police. Its objective was to ensure that the teams responsible for processing visa applications, document checks, and monitoring travelers had a complete mastery of digital tools.
Through this achievement, LiberTechnologies Limited confirms its commitment to supporting African states in modernizing public services, securing documents, and digitally transforming strategic administrations.
The deployment of the eVisa system in Chad is now a regional benchmark in the digitalization of migration procedures and demonstrates the shared commitment of the Chadian authorities and the LiberTechnologies teams to offer a modern, reliable and secure service to international travelers.
